Huntsville city council approves annexation of almost 700 acres near Gurley

One of the largest annexations Huntsville has seen this year is now approved. On Thursday night, the Huntsville City Council approved the annexation of 686 acres of the Stevens Property, which is right off Highway 72 near Gurley. The city says the plan is to solely bring industrial and commercial businesses to that area.
