Huntsville identified as a ‘hotspot’ for Parkinson’s disease, study says
Kryzyzanowski worked with Brad A. Racette of the Barrow Institute in Phoenix and Washington University researchers Susan Searles Nielsen and Jay R. Turner to study the relationship between Parkinson’s disease and air pollution using Medicare beneficiaries’ data.
Krzyzanowski told AL.com in an interview that “Huntsville is a part of the Parkinson’s disease hotspot region.”
